Crashdiet

3rd album (2010) from Swedish glam metal band and first featuring new singer Simon Cruz. Tracks: Armageddon, So Alive, Generation Wild, Rebel, Save Her, Down with the Dust, Native Nature, Chemical, Bound to Fall, Beautiful Pain. Track Listings. Generation Wild. Anyone know where I could buy the bonus tracks from Generation Wild here in the US without having to spend $50? I can't get enough of One of a Kind and Fear Control, and it bums me out that I can't get them here. I refuse to illegally download these tracks. Any chance Crashdiet.

I’m really excited about the demos. They are awesome and I’m very happy that they were released. It would have been a pity not to as it’s really great stuff. After listening up and down the whole set yesterday evening and this morning at the bus my fav is still Black Rose closely followed by Cornerstone Trippin’. I love the nasty guitar in Black Rose but most of all it’s Simon’s voice that gives the extra kick. It comes through so true and clear it’s amazing and that goes for all the songs.

It’s the perfect combination of sound, rhythm and lyrics that made me fall for Crashdiet in the first place. So thanks a lot for making those pieces of art and beauty available to us. And extra thanks to Simon for the liner notes – very much appreciated! I should really get a “Psychobunny approved” stamp or something just for you guys.G. I haven't listened to anything as of yet but I just wonder why do you release these tracks as demos, instead of picking the best (for you guys - the band) to work on them for another album? I believe it's a good material and when you put it out just as 'demos/outtakes' it means that for some reasons it's not good enough for you to release it on a proper album, right? If that's the case then I understand your decision about these songs! Thanks for the link! I'll pre-order it in a few minutes. I'm pretty broke this month, but music makes me happy.

I can't wait to listen to it. Psychobunny wrote: I’m really excited about the demos. They are awesome and I’m very happy that they were released. Crashdiet

Crashdiet is probably the biggest controversy in its genre, with their original singer committed suicide, the second replacement singer left to form a rival band, and now came Simon Cruz, the third singer, blowing a living breath to the band by helping them create a superior album, 'Generation Wild', which is on par with their sensational debut. With three singers and three albums, I don't think it's an easy job to survive, but Crashdiet preserved their existence and I must raise a glass of beer for them. 'Generation Wild' is a rare commodity that combined a complete set of elements that I love very much which is the heaviness of early glam, the naughtiness of sleaze rock, and the big punchy anthem of melodic rock. My most fave tracks here are: 'Armageddon', a superb dirt digger midtempo sleaze madness with a huge chorus; the title track which can be a soundtrack to the rebellious youth gang; the fiery uptempo track of 'Rebel'; the gigantic heavy metal piece of 'Down With The Dust'; the commercial melodic hard rock tune, 'Chemical'; and the Dokken-fueled 'Bound To Fall'. I can't find any weak links here, all of them are great and enjoyable, including the mandatory ballads, 'Save Her' and 'Beautiful Pain'.

Simon Cruz has a strong voice, he's truly a gifted singer and the band sealed a very good deal by recruiting him. This magnificent album upped their game again, and for fans of heavy metal, sleaze, and melodic rock, this is your dream album, a tribute to the late Dave Lepard, a must buy! Bottomline: Swingin' high to the top again.
